Values and Approach
A successful Talent Management approach focuses on personal development and is based on a few fundamental principles.
As a human resources professional, we respect the code of ethics and conduct as well as the required confidentiality that applies to our profession.
The approach – whether it is at the individual or organizational level, brings a larger reflection on an individual’s personal development and consequently requires a trusting relationship. In addition, the relationship must be based on openness and sharing as well as on the total involvement of the individuals in the process.
This preferred approach seeks to offer a space for reflection, discussion and exchanges while providing individuals with the means and support (knowledge, tools, experience) that they need to ensure their development.
Establishing a relationship based on trust, clear mandate(s) and clarifying the mutual expectations of all parties allows us to progress along the five remaining stages of the continuum (see diagram below).
